Greetings, Friends.
If you’re our friend on facebook, you probably already know about our dearest amigo Nate Raynor’s recent departure from This Infernal Machine. Hopefully he’ll return to us someday, in some form or another. We miss his random freestyle raps during practice.
Anyhow.
In other news, I am happy to inform everyone that we’ll be making our live debut during the grand opening of an Artist Collective in the city of Vancouver. The Space Art Collective will officially open it’s doors on MAY 7th and will not only feature This Infernal Machine as the musical entertainment but a slew of other awesome local acts as well. It should be noted that this is a special performance. We’re in the process of taking some of our heavier tunes and giving them a lounge-style treatment just for this show. For more information on how awesome The Space is, click some linkage below.
If you also frequent our facebook page, you may have also read that plans kind of changed in regards to recording drums. We’ve taken matters into our own hands. Sean’s home studio is officially the place we’ll be tracking most, if not all of the album. And that is including drums. In the end, we just felt we’d get more work done this way. Our friend Corey Craft over at Shaka Sound is helping us out by supplying us with awesome mics to use for drums. We still need to work out a few more details, however, we are hoping to officially start recording the day after we play at The Space. It is subject to change so we’ll keep the updates coming.
I wish I could talk more but I’m tired so GOOD NIGHT, DEAR READERS!!!
