The last month has been a rough one, health-wise, for This Infernal Machine. We were all at one point in the month of October sick with the dreaded swine flu. It’s a shame this inconvenient illness has done far worse to some than it did do any of us. All we experienced were a lousy couple of days with a stomach ache, really runny noses and unpleasant bowel movements among other symptoms. I think I speak for everyone in the band when I say we all are grateful it didn’t get any worse.
With that said, pre-production continues for this album of ours. As far as the music is concerned, I believe the album is entirely demoed out. However, the lyrical content and the vocal melodies still need attention on a few songs. I’ve been talking with each of the guys both together as a group and separately about ways of presenting this album to you all. We’re still tossing around a few ideas but rest assured, anyone who wants to purchase a physical copy will get the chance and anyone who wants to purchase the album digitally will get the chance to as well. I don’t want to make any promises but we may try and make a music video for one of the songs. I’m only saying that based off of one conversation I’ve had with Sean about it so far so it very well may not happen. But keep your fingers crossed.
Anyway. I hope all is well, dear reader, and that you all are staying healthy. We’re getting closer to making things happen. I’m grateful you continue to check in and see what’s going on.
