Yesterday’s practice was a good one. I experienced a moment where I kind of realized how this album may in fact sound. There are definitely going to be some moments on this album that are very classically inspired. Personally, I have been listening to a lot of classical piano music lately and I feel that shines through on some of the more recently written songs. But yesterday, Brady randomly started playing a bass riff he had in his arsenal of bass songs. Immediately I was drawn to it because it had such a classical vibe to it. We immediately started dabbling around with it and I think once everything is said and done, it’s going to be a great instrumental part of the album. And I think with that song, it will really solidify that classical vibe I am mentioning which I love. And it’s nothing too over the top. Everything is working really well. The mixture of these elements fit like a glove amongst the rock songs.
