Over the last few years, music has always been something I usually took my time with. I never really set deadlines for albums. I mean I’d, more often than not, give a projected time table, but it was never concrete and it would change a lot. This time is different. Myself and everyone in the band all agree that we want this album out by winter. There was a lot of work that was already done on the album. But only because it originally was intended to be my next solo record. I had parts already recorded. I didn’t have to consider 3 other people and their parts. It was just me behind a computer, laying down tracks for new songs. Between now and winter, there is a lot of work to be done. I was just going over the timeline of things with Nate and the things to consider with both the EP we want to release and the full length and the shows we want to book. When and where we are going to record and how long that is going to take. And everything from t-shirt ideas to how and where we are getting the full length pressed. It’s a bit overwhelming. But I am more than up for the challenge. The first step is finishing the songs that need to be finished and rehearse the crap out of them. And then shows come.
